SPMH hosting ‘Christmas at the Opera Hall’ Dec. 2
The third annual "Christmas at the Opera Hall", sponsored by the Society for the Preservation of Minneota's Heritage, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2 in the Opera Hall.
The event, which features several holiday-themed activities and refreshments, will be held from 3-5 p.m.
"We think it's a wonderful way for the community to come together, have some fun, and celebrate the holiday," said SPMH President Wendy Sarazyn. "Back in its heyday, the Opera Hall was a community gathering place, and so the tradition continues with an event for the whole family."
"Christmas at the Opera Hall" will feature make-and-take crafts for children and adults, a photo booth, refreshments, tree lighting, and a sing-along. The tree lighting will be held at 4:30 p.m. and will be followed by the sing-along.
"In keeping with the spirit of Christmas, we are collecting non-perishable food items for the local food shelf," said Sarazyn. "SPMH invites everyone to join us at the Opera Hall."
