SnoBall Week coronation to be held Jan. 29

SnoBall Week, which replaces the former Spring Fling, will be held from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2 for Minneota Public School students.
King and Queen coronation is set for Monday, Jan. 29 in the Viking gym. Candidates for King are: Keaton Jurrens, Peyton Sheik, Benjamin Schmidt, Ryan Dalager and Grant Anderson. Queen candidates are: Jacquelynn Moon, Brooke DeSmet, Kylie Sterzinger, Lyzah Sussner and Samara Sumerfelt.
The week will include games, activities, dress-up days and a dance for the students:
Monday, Jan. 29 - Pajama Dress-Up Day, coronation, boys’ basketball game at home against KMS.
Tuesday, Jan. 30 - White Out Dress-Up Day, girls basketball game at home against Pipestone Area
Wednesday, Jan. 31 - Young vs. Old Dress-Up Day, Rock-Paper-Scissors Game, Home Team competition.
Thursday, Feb. 1 - Twins Dress-Up Day (match outfits with a friend).
Friday, Feb. 2 - Black Out Dress-Up Day, girls basketball game at home against Yellow Medicine East, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, spikeball, dance for grades 9-12.
Admission to the dance is $5 per person and will be held in the Viking gym. The theme for the dance is “Black Out” and free glow sticks will be offered. Guests are allowed but must complete a guest permission form by Jan. 26.
