A robin at Robin's

During the blizzard on Saturday, Steve and Robin Traen of Minneota had a visitor at their door. A robin sought shelter from the snow and wind on the Traens’ front porch against the door.

Maybe it heard that another Robin lived there. Feeling sorry for the bird, Robin Traen put a towel on the front porch for him to stand on and some bread for him to eat.

The bird must had enjoyed his sheltered area because after the Traens’ dog went outside, the bird flew away.

But once the dog went back inside the house, the bird returned. The robin eventually flew away ... hopefully heading in a southerly direction.
