Minneota Memorial Run, Porter Harvest Festival this weekend

The 22nd annual Minneota Memorial Run will be held on Saturday, Aug. 19, rain or shine.
"Let's Ride for a Cause" will take cyclists through several cities promoting driving safety, as well as memorializing those who were killed on highways and roads.
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and will close at noon at City Hall Bar & Grill. The cost is $30 per rider.
Grilled burgers and brats will be served behind City Hall Bar & Grill following the Memorial Run. A memorial program will begin at 6:30 p.m. with several cash and other prizes being given out. T-shirts will be available for sale.
The name of a loved one lost in a motor vehicle accident can be added to a memorial plaque for $30.
All proceeds from the Minneota Memorial Run will go to the local VFW an ABATE of Minnesota.

There are a few updates to the Harvest Festival schedule of events from the one that was printed in last week's Mascot.
Harvest Festival runs Aug. 18-19-20 this year with many events for people of all ages.
