A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board 9 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Crowley, Graupmann, Anderson, Draper and Andries. Also present: Administrator Stomberg and County Attorney Wikelius.
MSP to approve the agenda.
MSP to approve the consent agenda.
MSP to approve the ACE JPA amendment for the admission of Pipestone County as a new member.
MSP to approve the abatement amount of $510.67 for 2023 taxes for parcel 14-034002-0.
MSP to approve the abatement amount of $996.00 for 2023 taxes for parcel 17-003001-2.
MSP to approve the abatement amount of $583.71 for parcel 27-206018-0.
MSP to approve the abatement amount of $449.17 for parcel 31-122024-0.
MSP to approve the CUP for Paws Avenue Dog Boarding-Derek & Lyndsee Varpness with the conditions presented.
MSP to approve the purchase of a John Deere 644P from RDO in the amount of $211,216.00.
MSP to approve the 60 month, 3,000 hour warranty in the amount of $9,159.00.
MSP to approve a loader from 6130M Loader from Kibble for a total $100,853.02.
MSP to approve the 72 month, 1500 hour warranty in the amount of $6,374.
MSP to approve the purchase 2 John Deere R246 disc mowers each priced at $11,880.33.
MSP to approve a $ 3 salary increase for the Jail & Dispatch group for existing employees and the starting rate for incoming employees, not to exceed the top of the pay scale.
MSP to allow HR to advertise for summer help positions with a rate of $12.50-$15.00.
MSP to approve the hire of Isaura Sandoval as Technical Assistant II in the Auditor/Treasurer's department with a starting rate of $20.34 and start date to be determined.
MSP to approve the hire of Teegan Thompson as HR Specialist with a starting rate of $27.00 and 1 week of vacation in her accruals.
