Gray performing at Bug Days

Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter making 4th appearance here

Ali Gray, a singer/songwriter from Minneapolis, has agreed to perform for two days during Boxelder Bug Days in September.
Gray will be making her fourth appearance here, the first three with her band Two Hicks and a Chick.
One of the members of her band left and a new guitarist was brought in. The group is now called Ali Gray's Country Jamboree. Dan Neale plays rhythm guitar and Dan Lowinger is on lead guitar.
Gray also performs solo and writes all of her own songs. She recently released a new single called "Up North Country Life", which will become a part of a sixth album in the future. Two of the previous five albums Gray has released are Christmas albums.
Two Hicks and a Chick were seen performing at the Minnesota State Fair by Boxelder Bug Days chairman Scott Josephson in 2017 and were booked for the 2017, '18 and '19 Bug Days.
"We were supposed to come again last year, too," Gray said, referring to the pandemic cancelling Boxelder Big Days in 2020.
Gray is excited about returning to Minneota.
"I told our newest member that he will really enjoy playing in Minneota," Gray said. "It was one of the best end of the summer shows. The people are great and it's such a great event. I'm looking forward to it."
Ali Gray's Country Jamboree will perform classic country during this appearance, which will include songs from several legendary singers such as Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline.
Also booked to perform during Boxelder Bug Days will be Avenger Joe and Platinum Road.
