Pat Dero of Lynd won Sweet Sixteen and Best in Show for his 1956 Chevrolet 2-door sedan.This 1960 panel van owned by David and Sheile Eke of Sauk Centre earned the People’s Choice award during the Ghent Car Cruisers Show on Saturday.

Dero wins Best in Show; Ekes get People’s Choice

Pat Dero of Lynd received the "Best in Show" award at the annual Ghent Cruisers Car Show during Belgian-American Days on Saturday.
Dero's car is a 1960 Chevrolet 210 2-door sedan.
David and Sheila Eke of Sauk Centre received the "People's Choice" award for their 1960 Willys panel van.
There were 79 vehicles shown on a day in which the forecast call for intermittent showers throughout the day, although only a few drops fell.
"We are very thankful that the weather held out for us and appreciative of the participants for bringing their vehicle out in questionable weather," said host Joette Remme.
