Burning of flags

As part of the annual Veterans Day program that was held on Monday, Nov. 7 at the high school, local veterans hold a proper ceremony before burning of old and discarded American flags. Legion Commander Jim Fink, and Legion members Mike Sontag and Harold DeSmet performed the burning. Veterans Day is Friday, Nov. 11. Remember to thank a veteran for his/her service to their country.
