22nd annual Minneota Memorial Run
Despite temperatures in the upper 80s, over 75 bikers registered to participate in the 22nd annual Minneota Memorial Run this past Saturday.
The Memorial Run is designed to promote road, vehicle and motorcycle safety.
The bikers started out at 12:30 p.m. at City Hall Bar & Grill in Minneota and headed west where the first stop was in Gary, SD. From there, the bikers made stops in Castlewood, SD; Arlington, SD; Bruce, SD; and Bushnell, SD; before returning to Minneota. The run covered 166 miles.
Upon the return to Minneota, bikers were served a meal of grilled brats and burgers from City Hall Bar & Grill, followed by a memorial program, 25 cash prize drawings ranging from $25-$100, and local entertainment.
All proceeds go to the local VFWs, Buffalo Ridge Chapter A.B.A.T.E. of Minnesota, and the City of Minneota Fire Department.
