Looking for an alternative to your breakfast?
Here is a great recipe you can use to jazz up you breakfast.
French Breakfast Puffs
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
1) Mix together butter or margarine, sugar, and eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg; add to other mixture, alternating with milk.
2) Bake in muffin tin at 375° for 25 minutes.
3) Let the puffs cool for 5 minutes.
4) Melt the 6 tablespoons butter.
Roll the puffs in melted butter and the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon mixture.
Cool.
Stay cool and enjoy the rest of the summer!
