Ask the Chief

To all drivers

Please give ALL snow plow drivers a break. They are working very hard with long hours trying to keep our roads open and safe.

When you follow them too closely, try to pass them or cut them off at intersections, you are not just risking your life but also the life of the plow driver, and others in the public.

They know that you are tired of the snow and if they had it in their power they would give us an early summer.

Sadly, the best they can do is to keep the plows running and try to improve driving conditions on the roads.

I have spoken with several of them and they all ask for you to slow down, don't pass them and increase the distance between you and them.

By working together, we can survive this hard winter.
