Minneota’s Knowledge Bowl members in the first round had 50 questions to answer and turn in. They were ranked for their responses.
The Minneota Knowledge Bowl team placed ninth among 27 teams at the Sub-Region 3 meet Friday in Jackson, and advances to the Region 3 competition March 12 at Southwest Minnesota State University.
The Minneota Knowledge Bowl team placed third and fifth out of 12 teams at the competition in Redwood Falls Monday night.
The Minneota Junior High Knowledge Bowl teams concluded their season recently, with Team Blue placing second from among 50 teams in the Super Regionals Jan.
Minneota competed in and won the first Knowledge Bowl meet at Marshall Monday night.
“We had two Jr. High knowledge Bowl Teams compete,” said Coach Miranda Gravley.
