Dahms earns Housing Leadership Award

In recognition of his legislature commitment to promote homeownership across the state, Senator Gary Dahms (R-Redwood Falls) has been honored with the 2022 Housing Leadership Award.
The award, which was presented by Housing First Minnesota, an association of more than 1,200 home builders, remodelers, developers, and industry suppliers, highlights a commitment to promoting durable, affordable homeownership for Minnesota families.
“It is a great honor to be recognized for my efforts to expand access to affordable housing,” Dahms said. “The ability to own your own home is an important tenet of the American Dream. I will continue my work to make Minnesota a more affordable state to live and raise a family.”
“This recognition reflects Senator Dahms’ commitment to a vibrant housing market that ties together the communities of our state,” Mark Foster, Directive of Legislative and Political Affairs at Housing First Minnesota, said.
