Time for the Hospice Ball

The Annual Prairie Home Hospice Charity Ball and Auction has been a premier charity event in Lyon County for over 30 years.

The 31st annual event will take place April 8 at the Red Baron Arena and Expo. “This will be the first premier charity event held at the Red Baron Arena & Expo facility,” said Deb Herrmann, Co-Chair of this year’s event.

The theme this year is, “BBQ, Blues and Brews.” The night will begin with live blue grass music as guests enjoy social hour from 5-7 p.m., while browsing the hundreds of auction items on display.

At 7 p.m., the Hitching Post will serve up dinner, featuring their famous BBQ ribs and chicken, with all the fixings.

The live auction will include a number of great get-away packages, including a week at a private home on the Pacific Ocean beach in Nicaragua; one week resort destination package of your choice and more!

This year, the live auction will also feature a spectacular Alaskan Cruise for two!
