Kindergarten - Mrs. Allison Peterson
Kindergarten has been working on many new things! We started using our book baggies in class with books to our reading level. We have also been learning about our first lesson on energy with sound! We made our own kazoos!
Grade 1 & 2 - Mrs. Jackie Skillings
We went to do activities with the residents of the Minneota Manor and enjoyed ourselves very much. The second graders are preparing for next week’s school Mass. In social studies, we are learning about trading and buying.
Grade 3 & 4 - Mrs. Robin Traen
2nd graders are identifying and creating congruent shapes and adding two digit numbers with regrouping, using dimes and pennies. 3rd graders are writing numbers to 1000 using words, and learning how to multiply by 2. 4th graders are learning about Geometry; points, lines, planes, line segments, rays, angles, polygons, triangles, and quadrilaterals. 5th graders are also learning about Geometry; basic geometric ideas, measuring and classifying angles, polygons, triangles, and quadrilaterals.
