Second graders are adding to sums of 15, 16, 17 and 18. We are measuring to the nearest foot, and identifying lines of symmetry. Third graders are subtracting multiples of 10 using mental computation and finding the areas of squares.
Fourth graders are using mental math to divide, estimating quotients and dividing with remainders. Fifth graders are working on multiplying decimals by 10, 100, and 1000 and estimating the product of a decimal and a whole number.

The first and second graders had a great time being part of the Christmas concert. The second graders visited the Minneota Manor and learned some new Christmas songs.
The first graders are learning to tell time to the hour.
