Sanford hosts summer camp for children with cancer, survivors

Camp Bring it On, South Dakota’s only residential camp for children with cancer and pediatric cancer survivors, is June 12-17. Camp Bring it On, held at Joy Ranch near Watertown, South Dakota, is staffed by medical professionals from Sanford Children’s Hospital.
It’s funded by Cure Kids Cancer, a program of Children’s Miracle Network. Sanford Children's Hospital is the state's only Cure Kids Cancer hospital.
The environment of Joy Ranch offers campers an escape from their battles with cancer. The camp is designed to let the campers feel like carefree kids while participating in a variety of traditional camp events including arts and crafts, paintball, horse riding, boating, archery and campfires.
