Chorale Spring Concerts: “Cool Water”

Prairie Arts Chorale, Singers of Southwestern Minnesota under the direction of John Kleinwolterink, invites you to attend one of our concerts this spring, “Cool Water.”

Float along as we sing tribute to our greatest natural resource. You will hear selections from the musical Show Boat. There will be gospel and folk tunes, such as “The Water Is Wide” and “The Drunken Sailor.” Old and new favorites will be included, like “Moonlight Bay” and “Orinoco Flow.”

Concerts will be held Saturday, April 22, 7:30 pm at Estebo Performing Arts Center in Redwood Falls; Sunday, April 23, 4:00 pm at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer; Friday, April 28, 7:30 pm at Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo; Saturday, April 29, 7:30 pm at Unity Christian Reformed Church in Prinsburg; and Sunday, April 30, 4:00 pm at Marshall Middle School.

Tickets are available in various business places in the communities where the concerts are held, from chorale members, or at the door before the concert.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. There is no charge for children or students under 18.

These concerts are funded, in part, by a grant from the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council through an appropriation from the MN State Legislature with money from the State’s general fund
