Chippewa City and the Swensson Farm Museum open for the season

The Chippewa County Historical Society is pleased to announce that Historic Chippewa City will open for the season on Saturday, May 27 at 1 p.m. and the Swensson Farm Museum will open for the season on Sunday, May 28 at 1 p.m.

Summer hours for Historic Chippewa City are Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 1 - 5 p.m.

Summer hours for the Swensson Farm Museum will be Sundays, 1-5 p.m. with private tours available by appointment. These hours will continue through Labor Day Weekend.

Historic Chippewa City is located at the junctions of Highways 7 & 59 in Montevideo. The Swensson Farm Museum is located 6 miles east of Montevideo or 11 miles west of Clara City on Highway 7, and 6 miles south on County Road 6, or 4 miles north of Granite Falls on County Road 5 and 2 3/4 miles west on County Road 15.
