Avera Marshall names New ‘Foundation Executive Director’
The Avera Marshall Foundation board of directors has named Abby Ennenga as its new Executive Director. She will begin her duties immediately and brings a unique set of skills to the job including nearly 10 years of philanthropic experience and history working with the Foundation in a support role.
“I’m thrilled to take my role with the Foundation to the next level,” Ennenga said. “I feel a strong commitment to the Foundation’s purpose of enhancing local health care, and I’m excited to work with our many generous donors to support technology advancements, projects and programs that serve the health needs of our region.”
“Abby has been instrumental in cultivating key stakeholder relationships, managing special events, and providing expertise in administrative duties,” said Mary Maertens, Regional President and CEO, Avera Marshall.
“In her new leadership position, she will build upon her experience and expand her capacity to serve the many stakeholders of the Foundation.”
The Foundation raises funds and awareness to enhance regional health care. Gifts to the Foundation are made in several forms including cash, bequests, securities and real estate. All dollars stay local to support technology, equipment, educational programs and other health care services.
