Top-seeded Murray County Central took advantage of three costly Minneota errors en route to an 8-3 victory in the winner's bracket of the double-elimination tournament.

PREP SOFTBALL

Windom Area scored all six of its runs in the second inning and went on to defeat Minneota/Canby 6-1 in the first round of the Section 3AA softball tournament Wednesday in Jackson.

TRAP SHOOTING

Minneota senior Brock Kremin continues to lead the team with an average of 22.88 clay targets busted out of 26 attempts. He is currently tied for 12th place in the conference.

Minneota/Canby left fielder Emily Walker tried to stay warm during a softball game against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Saturday morning in 40-degree weather in Minneota. The Vikings won the game, 6-4.

SOFTBALL

On a crisp Saturday morning with players donning stocking caps, long sleeves and even using hand warmers, Minneota/Canby rallied to beat Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 6-4 in Minneota.

Karlie Wollum won both the high jump and long jump, and the 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 relays teams finished first as the Canby/Minneota girls won the Camden Conference championship Thursday in Clara City

AMATEUR BASEBALL

The Minneota Mudhens rallied from a 12-run deficit to defeat the Rosen Express 14-13 in a thrilling amateur baseball game on Sunday afternoon at K.P. Kompelien Field.
