So far the Minneota Vikings football team has played three games — and all three times the games took me by surprise.

Thomas Hennen tried to leap over his Canby defenders, but he was caught by Tyler Sayre.
Minneota's Landon Rolbiecki, Cole Sanow and Shawn Buysse combined to force a fumble as they convered on Canby receiver Kalib Greenman. Thomas Hennen (11), pounced the fumbled ball.
LaShad Smith had an intercepted pass, a two-yard touchdown run and and two point after kicks for Minneota in the 33-20 win over Canby.
Cole Sanow ran 28 times for 223 yards, a touchdown and long run of 37 yards. Here he broke away from Canby defenders.
Logan Sussner scored the first touchdown of the game on this 17-yard pass from Thomas Hennen. He took the pass in front of Canby's Riley Kockleman with Minneota's Tate Walerius behind him.
"It's a credit to that young man," said Coach Chad Johnston.
