To the day, Friday was the 10th Anniversary of the first Minneota Mudhen game. They won that one 10 years ago — and they won again 10 years later, beating Granite Falls, 5-2.
Minneota-Canby swept a pair of games from Yellow Medicine East Thursday, 7-0 and 17-7.

The Southwest Minnesota State softball team (19-26) closed its season with an 8-3 loss to Minnesota Duluth (32-19) on Friday afternoon at the RYSFA Complex in the NSIC Tournament.
On Monday the Minneota-Canby softball squad split at MACCRAY, losing 4-1 in the first game but winning, 13-9 in the nightcap.
Multiple area teams competed in the Lakeview Invite on Monday at Cottonwood Country Club.
