Youth wrestlers successful

At a tournament last weekend, the local Youth Wrestling Team went 4-0.

“The kids wrestled hard and battled all day and our older kids were great leaders. Great way to start the year and looking to improve each time out,” said Coach Beau Buysse. “We will be wrestling Canby before the varsity at home match a couple weeks from now,” he said. Minneota youth competed in a wrestling tournament last weekend.

The final results were:

•Won 67-13 against Windom/Mountain Lake

•Won 51-30 against Pipestone

•56-21 against Wabasso/Red Rock In the championship they won 40-30 against Fulda/MCC.
