Vikings trip Canby with 10 treys

Utilizing its best shooting night of the season, Minneota rolled past Canby 80-56 in a Camden Conference rivalry Friday night in Canby.

The Vikings snapped the cords with a season-high 10 3-pointers.

Jacob Hennen recorded a double-double with 25 points and 14 rebounds, as well as notching five assists and five steals. He made 9 of 18 shots from the field, including a team-high five 3-pointers.

The lopsided score allowed 12 players to see playing time for the Vikings (4-5).

AJ Josephson sank 9 of 14 shots, including a trio of 3-pointers, and finished with a season-high 21 points. Jacob Citterman finished with 18 points on 9 of 13 shooting. Josephson also had eight rebounds and Citterman pulled down seven.

Cale Sorensen had a strong all-around game for the Vikings with six, five rebounds, seven assists and two steals. Bishop Drietz drained a pair of treys among his eight points.

The Vikings had a season-best 41 rebounds, 16 more than the Lancers.

Mike Tol had 14 points, Evan Weber 12 and Will Varcoe 10 for Canby.
