Sussner propels Minneota past KMS
It wasn't just that Logan Sussner pulled down a career-high 26 rebounds, but the Minneota senior also notched 18 points, eight steals, seven assists, and two blocks as the Vikings defeated KMS 68-49 in a Camden Conference game Thursday night.
The 26 rebounds by Sussner was nine more than the entire KMS team combined for.
Sixteen of his rebounds came on the offensive end as the Vikings had 40 missed shots (24 of 64) while shooting only 38 percent.
Minneota outrebounded KMS 49-17 as a team. Sussner also also drained 6 of 16 shots from the field and six of nine free throws. Cale Sorensen added 15 points. seven rebounds and five assists for Minneota, while Jacob Citterman had 11 points and six rebounds, and Alex Saltzer 10 points, five assists and five steals. Isaac Call paced KMS with 24 points on 10 of 20 shooting.
Titan Norton had eight points and Isaac Rudningen had seven.
