Sensations third in conference
Conference meets are always a good time to test your talent.
On Saturday, the Canby-Minneota Sensations took their high kick and jazz teams to the Camden Conference meet in Renville.
The team placed third overall, a good showing for this young team.
Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd won the high kick routine with Yellow Medicine East second and Canby-Minneota third.
“It was a close one again,” said Sensation representatives. The Jazz team didn’t place in that division nor did the Junior Varsity jazz and kick teams.
The Sensations also been performing in Canby and Minneota during halftimes of the basketball games. Last week, the show came to Minneota during the Thursday night girls’ basketball game.
Last week, the dance team placed sixth out of 18 teams in competition at Yellow Medicine East in Granite Falls.
All Conference winners from the Sensations were Madiso Verhelst, Stephanie Kimpe and Tiffani Stockman.
