Pesch gets first start, win

Henry Pesch got his first “start” for the University of Crookston baseball team on Saturday against Bemidji State He pitched a two-hit shutout, complete game. Crookston won, 5-0.

His team has clinched a playoff spot in the NSIC with two series remaining against the U of M Duluth and Minot State. They are currently in sixth place of the NSIC, behind Augustana, Mankato State, St. Cloud State, Minot State and Wayne State.

The NSIC Tournament is in St. Cloud on May 5-11.
