Minneota rumbles past Dawson-Boyd, 88-16

In a lopsided Camden Conference contest, all 10 Minneota players scored en route to an 88-16 triumph over Dawson-Boyd Saturday night in Dawson.
Abby Hennen with 24 points, seven rebounds, seven steals and five assists led the rout. Natalee Rolbiecki delivered 20 points, four rebounds and three steals.
The Vikings have been without one of their key players for several games. Ireland Stassen recently underwent knee surgery and and other players have had to step up in her absence.
"I am happy with a lot of things we are doing," said Minneota coach Chad Johnston. "We are trying to figure out our new rotation now that Ireland had knee surgery. We are hoping to have her back before the end of the season, but Grace Hennen is transitioning into that role."
Johnston said his team also needs to work on its efficiency when a team switches defense on the Vikings.
Minneota (14-0) shot 51 from the field against the Blackjacks, who sank only 27 percent of their shots.
The Vikings also made 27 steals in the game. Besides Hennen's seven swipes, McKenzie Tolk made five steals, while and McKenna Yost and Abby Rost had four apiece.
Abby Rost finished with eight points and eight rebounds. Yost also had eight points, Tolk seven, and Kennedi Jurrens and Megan Moorse six each. Moorse mad all three of her shot attempts off the bench. Grace Hennen added five points, Tolk three, and Megan Krog and Jeren Rost two apiece.
Allison Estling had seven points for Dawson-Boyd.
