The Minneota boys opened the season by finishing fifth among 1 teams on Monday in the Marshall Invitational.
Marshall Black won the meet with a 321. Lakeview was second with 352. Minneota had a score of 368.
Cole Myhre shot an 89 to lead Minneota. Jackson Esping shot 90, Alex DePestel 94 and Max Rost 95.
Luke Ehlers of Marshall was medalist with a 74. Collin Swedzinski of Dawson-Boyd was runner-up with a 77, and Brock Henning of Adrian/Ellsworth shot a 78 for third.
