Limited fans now allowed for indoor sports events
The Minnesota Department of Education informed all school districts on Thursday that a limited number of spectators can attend indoor MSHSL events.
This begins today with Minneota's first volleyball match of the season. The match will be free of charge to any of the allowed spectators.
The new changes are as follows:
Each team/group is now allowed up to a total allocation of two spectators per participant, including athletes and student managers.
Spectators must be separated by at least six feet.
Spectators must be 12-feet from players/bench. (Minneota will block off 3-5 rows behind the team benches).
School districts must require advanced reservations and/or ticketing. Walk-ins, impromptu purchases, or admittance will not be allowed. (Minneota administrators will send a Google form so you can make your reservation on the day of the game).
9-12 VB Parents: We hope to have the Google Form sent out by noon today so you can make your reservation. Your name(s) will be on a list at the door for you tonight.
7-8 VB Parents: We hope to have the Google Form sent out by noon today so you can make your reservation. Your name (s) will be on a list at the door for you tonight at the Auxiliary Gym Entrance.
Masks must be worn by all spectators at all times.
