Ben Skorczewski and Josh Schuelke had two hits apiece to lead a 10-hit attack as Minneota drubbed Tract 14-4 in five innings in a Senior Legion game on Monday in Tracy.
Thor Fischer hurled three innings for the win. The right-hander allow two hits and three runs, while walking four and striking out fout. Skorczewski pitched two innings of relief and gave up two hits and one run.
Tate Walerius, Jacob Hennen, A.J. Myhre, Carter Schuelke, Braeden Panka and Grady Moorse each had a hit for Minneota, which involved the 10-run rule after five innings.
The Senior Legion next plays at Heron Lake-Okabena at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Minneota falls to Worthington, 11-5
Worthington utilized a 10-hit attack and defeated the Minneota Senior Legion team 11-5 on Thursday in Worthington.
Minneota collected seven hits, including two by Ben Skorczewski, off two Worthington pitchers. Josh Schuelke, Tate Walerius, Carter Schuelke, Grady Moorse and Cooper VanOverbeke had a hit apiece.
A.J. Myhre started on the mound for Minneota and hurled the first 3 2/3 innings before giving way to Jacob Hennen for the final 21.3 innings. The two pitchers collectively gave up 10 hits and four walks, while striking out two.

Esping stays hot; Minneota routs Tracy
Jackson Esping continued his torrid hitting with three hits as the Minneota Junior Legion team trounced Tracy 11-5 on Monday in Tracy.
Esping went 3-for-5, while Peyton Gillund, Ryan Dalager and Jack Lacek had a hit apiece. Isaac Pohlen walked five times in the game.
Gillund earned the win on the mound, pitching five innings and scattering seven hits, while walking two and striking out eight. Jayden Gamrak pitched two innings and gave up one hit and one run.

The hosts amassed 10 hits and had five walks off three Minneota pitchers.
Minneota collected eight hits, half of them by Gillund. Isaac Pohlen had two hits, while Jonah Gruenes and Alex DePestel had a hit apiece.
