Josephson leads tracksters into sections

Minneota’s Jared Josephson won the 400-meter dash in a time of 52.54 — slightly better than the time came into the sub-section with.
But the astounding part was that his brother AJ, a freshman, finished third and qualified for sections at :53.84 and their teammate Jalyn Ufkin was fourth at :55.47 and also earned spot in the sections.
AJ Josephson finished fifth in the 200-meter dash and his time of: 24.64 got him into the sections.
Cameron Anderson, the Canby speeders, was third in the 100, trailing two Lac qui Parle Valley-Dawson Boyd runners, Keaton Schuelke and Trevon Johnson.
C-M’s Blake Stoks was fourth in the 1600-meter run and third in the 3200-meters and he qualified for sections in both.
Carter Wente took the 110-meter hurdles in :15.8 with Ty Stoks fourth and both will run in the sections next week.
The real success for Canby-Minneota came in the relays. They won three of the four relay events.
First place finishes were:
4x100-meter relay: Cameron Anderosn Jaden Kindopp, Cole VanOverbeke and Carter Wente. Time: :45.25.
4x200-meter relay: VanOverbeke, Kindopp, Jared Josephson, Carter Wente.. Time: 1:33.4
4x400-meter relay: Ufkin, VanOverbeke, AJ Josephson, Jared Josephson. Time: 3:36.38.
They were fifth in the 4x800-meter relay. But, they qualified for sections in this event as well in a time of 9:22.93. Runners are: Riley Buysse, Dillan DeCock, Alexander Full and Tristan Bierschenk.
Kolton Duis qualfied in the 3200-meter run. Alex Saltzer was fifth in the high jump at 5-7 and Peyton Svoboda was the same and both qualified for sections.. Saltzer was fifth in the 100-meter dash at :12.24 and he also got seeded into the sections.

Canby-Minneota qualifiers for the Section 3A Tournament Thursday at Luverne are included in each event:
