Great catch Austin

Mudhen Manager Tyson Sonnenburg told me he and a couple of his buddies were going to the College World Series in Omaha.
Thought that was great— but I never expected to see them on television.
What happened is the ball was hit toward them inthe outfield. Well, Austin Buysse, being a tall, lanky third baseman, did nothing any other baseball player wouldn’t have done — he reached way over the seats as the baseball whizzed by.
Only Austin, also being a man who hates to waste anything, balanced his drink in his other hand, kept it safe and grabbed the ball as he leaned backwards.
Just to prove the drink was intact — Austin Buysse chugged his beer while still hanging onto the ball.
This, of-course, set off a loud ovation in the crowd — especially by his friends, Sonnenburg and Zach Nuy.
They began to cheer wildly and pat Austin on the back.
All the while, Austin Buysse and friends were on ESPN TV and were being caught on video for all the world to see.
It didn’t take long for the video to go viral and Austin Buysse soon became know as the man who caught the fly ball while balancing a drink in his other hand.
Hey, everyone once in awhile you see someone make a play like this in the stands. But the thing is, I’ve never known any of them before.
But this time I did. It was Austin Buysse, with pals Zach Nuy and Tyson Sonnenburg right by him to substantiate the whole thing.
All I can say is, “Great Catch Austin!"

The catch that made Austin famous.
