DEJA VU!

Vikings punch state tickets in football, volleyball again

The late New York Yankees catcher Yogi Berra once quipped "It's like deja vu all over again" after Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris hit back-to-back home runs in a 1961 game.
After the Minneota Vikings won section titles in both football and volleyball on Friday and Saturday, respectively, it felt just like that.
Reaching the state tournament has become the norm for both Minneota programs.
The football team defeated Lakeview 28-6 on Friday at SMSU's Mattke Field in Marshall in the Section 5A championship, avenging an earlier loss to the Lakers.
