C/M girls third at Luverne meet
Competing in a second straight meet against several quality teams, the Canby/Minneota girls placed third and the boys eighth among 11 teams at the Luverne Invitational last Tuesday.
The C/M girls placed first in the 4 x 200 relay team in a time of 1:55.63. That relay teams consisted of RyAnn Hansen, Aidyn Bruns, Karlie Wollum and Natalie Stoks.
In the high jump, several girls tied for first place with 4-6 being the top height. Wollum and Bruns were among those reaching that mark.
Grace Drietz was second in the 1600 run in a time of 5:26.29. Mackenzie Janiszeski was third in the discus with a throw of 100-7.
The C/M boys were first in the 4 x 800 relay team featuring Kolton Duis, Zach Ourada, Blake Giese and Blake Stoks. They finished in a time of 8:54.16.
Trevor Gray was third in the high jump with a leap of 5-10.
