Clay Target season gets underway

The Minneota Clay Target team opened the season on Thursday at Southwest Sportsmen’s Club with 12 shooters averaging 15 or more hits per round.
Garet DeBoer scored the highest average of 22.0 with rounds of 21 and 23. Varsity and junior varsity levels are determined by shooter average; varsity 19-25 average per round and JV 15-18.99 average per round.
Hudson Scholten had rounds of 21-21 (21.0 average), Wyatt Myhre scored 16-21 (18.5 average), Liz DeSmet 19-16 (17.5), Joe Verschelde 16-19 (17.5), Kaden Myhre 15-19 (17.0), Nate Allen 15-17 (16.0), Brayden Monnet 17-14 (15.5), Troy VanKeulen 17-14 (15.5), Joe Voit 14-17 (15.5), Brock Kremin 17-13 (15.0), and Gabe Sterzinger 16-14 (15.0).
The Clay Target team shoots every Tuesday and Thursday.
