Canby boys second at Lakeview
Isaac Hennen is still in search of 21-foot long jump he had last year to qualify for the state tournament.
Thursday at Lakeview he jumped 19-6. "I'm working on it. I know I need to climb into the 20's to be competitive," Hennen said.
Not only is Tyl Woelber of Pipestone standing in his way, but as of Thursday, teammate Yan Din Suter jumped 19-2 to take second place behind Woelber's 21-2 3/4.
Meanwhile, Canby-Minneota went on to take second place in the meet behind Pipestone.
