C-M dance team finishes second in Kick, Jazz

Canby-Minneota finished second in both Kick and Jazz in its six-team home dance meet on Friday. Besides Canby-Minneota, other teams participating in the meet were Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd, MACCRAY, Renville County West, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton and Worthington.

In varsity Kick, Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd finished first, Canby-Minneota second and Worthington third. Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd also placed first in varsity Jazz, followed by Canby-Minneota and Worthington again in second and third, respectively.

In the junior varsity portion of the meet, Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd was first in Kick and Canby-Minneota was second.

And in JV Jazz, Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd was first, Canby-Minneota second and Worthington third. Canby-Minneota competes in the Section 3A meet beginning at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8 in Montevideo.
