Boys finished second at Granite Falls

The Canby-Minneota boys finished second at the Granite Run Thursday with Lac qui Parle Valley winning with 22 points. C-M finished second with 77.

C-M's top runner was Jared Josephson and he finished in sixth place overall at 17:41 as Mike Kvaal of Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd won the meet in 16:48.

Jalyn Ufkin had to put on a burst to beat Bruce Nelson of Montevideo, 18:02 to 18:03 for 13th place. Blake Stoks was 15th at 18:03. After that, C-M's other two in the top five were Alexander Full in 20th and Tristan Bierschenk in 29th.
