Bowyer is medalist at Canby

Lauren Bowyer, a Minneota junior, shot a 49 in a Camden Conference South meet Tuesday in Canby to earn medalist honors by five strokes.
Jayla Hulzebos of Canby, playing on her home course, shot a 54 to place second. Shae O'Leary of Russell-Tyler-Ruthton was third with a 56.
Jeren Rost of Minneota shot a 59 and finished sixth. Bowyer and Rost were the only two Minneota girls to compete.
There were only two complete teams in the meet. Canby shot a 254 and RTR was second with 260.
