Bowyer medalist again; Viking boys 2nd

Minneota senior Lauren Bowyer was medalist for the third straight conference meet with the identical 41 score each time.
Cole Myhre, a senior, led the Minneota boys to a second-place finish, tying for first place with three others. Lakeview won the boys' meet with a 173, seven shots ahead of the Vikings.

Camden meet at Tyler

The Minneota boys shot a 166 to beat Lakeview by six strokes Monday in a Camden Conference meet in Tyler.
Lauren Bowyer, the lone varsity player for the Minneota girls, was medalist for the second straight meet with a 41.
Alex DePestel led the Minneota boys with a 39, which was third overall. Carson Boe of Lakeview and Chase Christensen of RTR were co-medalists after each shot a 38.
Cole Myhre shot 41, Max Rost 42 and Anthony Rybinski 43 that counted toward the team score. Jackson Esping was close behind with a 44 and Lucas Rybinski had a 53.

Camden meet at Cottonwood
(Results Tuesday, April 26)
The Lakeview boys shot a 168 to win the Camden Conference meet on their home course in Cottonwood by 15 strokes over runner-up Minneota's 183 on Tuesday.
Chase Christensen of Russell-Tyler-Ruthon was medalist with a 39.
Lauren Bowyer of Minneota was the girls' medalist with a 41, eights strokes ahead of RTR's Shae O'Leary, who was medalist in the last meet.
RTR was the only girls' team with a full squad and was the winner with a 241.
Cole Myhre fired a 42, Jackson Esping 43, Alex DePestel 46 and Max Rost 52 for the four Minneota boys' scores.
Lakeview's four scores were Cole Arens and Carson Boe, each with a 40, Ethan Schwankl with a 43, and Lane Arens with a 45.
