P. Marcella ‘Marcie’ Wolff

P. Marcella “Marcie” Wolff, age 84, of Canby Minnesota passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the Sylvan Court Nursing Home in Canby, Minnesota. Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby, MN.

Burial will be at the Bethel Lutheran Cemetery, Porter, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church on Monday. Patricia “Marcie” Marcella Wolff was born on January 16, 1935 to Everett D. Coleman and Mary A. VanDorpe in Minneota, MN.

She was raised there and graduated from high school in 1952. She was united in marriage to E. Elden Wolff on June 6, 1953 in Minneota, MN. They lived in the Porter area and farmed until 1967.

They moved to Lake Elmo in 1967 and moved back to Canby in 1974.

After moving back to Canby, Marcie worked at Schott’s for 20 years. In the later years, Marcie and Elden enjoyed going to Florida during the winter. Elden passed away on September 12, 2003.

Marcie remained in Canby where she passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the Sylvan Court Nursing Home at the age of 84.

Marcie was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby and helped with the WELCA Group. She loved playing cards and games.

She is survived by her eight children: Kathie (Tom) LaCosse, Woodbury, MN, Bonnie (Paul) Richert, Scandia, MN, Cheri (Mike) Bohn, Osceola, WI, Peggy Rodacker, Danbury, WI, Kevin (Debbie) Wolff, Tavares, FL, Tammy (Dave) Rychman, St. Francis, MN, Steve Wolff, Fischer, IN and Brian (Joan) Wolff, Stillwater, MN; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters: Georgia Burlingame, Canby, MN and LaVonne Sase, Cheyenne, WY; brother-in-law, Richard (Pat) Wolff, Waunakee, WI; and many nieces and nephews. Marcie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings: Colleen Paap, Dennis Coleman and Ronald Coleman.
