Marcus Bruns

Marcus Bruns, 71, of Cottage Grove, MN, formerly of Minneota, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at White Pines Assisted Living in Cottage Grove.

A Memorial Service for Marcus will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Hope Lutheran Church in Minneota.

Marcus was born July 13, 1947 to Marvin and Florence Bruns.

Marcus suffered a terrible car accident in 2010 and spent his remaining time in assisted living.

Marcus will be remembered as an outgoing man with many friends.

He loved to take pictures and sing with his guitar for his many friends and family.

Marcus is survived by his son Wayne (Jacia); grandsons Jacob and Benjamin Bruns of Mendota Heights, MN; sister Kathryn (LaRon) Budahl of Pickerel Lake, SD; and nephew Aaron (Emily) of Watertown, SD.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Florence.
