John Johannes

John Johannes, 32, of Little Falls, formerly of Minneota, was actively seeking help for his addiction when he suffered one final relapse. John lost his battle with depression and addiction on January 16, 2019, in Naperville, IL.

Services for John will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, at the Rehkamp Horvath Funeral Home in Minneota. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

There will also be a memorial service and benefit for John on March 9, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the VFW in Little Falls, Minnesota.

A private family interment will take place at a later date.

John Everett Johannes was born November 18, 1986, in Long Prairie to Everett Johannes and Patricia (Kidrowski) Morin.

He later moved with his family to Minneota, where he attended grade school and high school.

His later years were spent living and working in Little Falls. John was a successful climber and tree trimmer throughout his adult life.

In his free time, John enjoyed riding motorcycles and being outdoors, as well as spending time with family and friends.

John was a friendly person who took the time to say hello to anyone and everyone.

He was loved by more people than he ever could have guessed.

He is survived by his siblings Connie Gerads and Adam Johannes; grandparents Angie and Tony Kidrowski; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Pat, and three grandparents.
