Francis Hamerlinck

Francis Paul “Frank” Hamerlinck age 94, of Fridley (formerly of Thief River Falls) passed away June 6, 2020.
Frank was a WWII Navy veteran and spent his career in education, first as a teacher and coach, then as a principal and administrator. He was active in his church, served as a city councilman and was active in many civic organizations and foundations. He loved his family, traveling and meeting new people and he will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched.
Preceded in death by loving wife Jeanette and brother Don. Survived by his children Barb (Dan) Johnson, Mike (Rose) Hamerlinck, Mark (Jan) Hamerlinck and Jeff (Julie) Hamerlinck; sister Pauline (Leonard) Hoffman and sister-in-law Kathleen Hamerlinck; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A private family gathering is planned, with burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
