Thrift Store to open on Friday, July 7!

Doors for the new ONE MORE TIME of the Parish of St. Edward’s thrift store are set to open on July 7 in time for Crazy Days in Minneota. 

The store located in the former MGT Oil Co. building on First Street has been accepting donations since last Monday, and will continue to accept donations every day of the week except Sundays, according to Barb Guttormsson.

No consignments will be accepted. Barb and Jon Guttormsson, as well as Brenda and Gene Verschelde, Jeannette Sharp and Jan Bot make up the core group for the parish thrift store.

Due to a liability insurance policy, donated items must not include large appliances or large furniture such as couches or larger chairs.

“We're looking for people who would like to volunteer to work in the store,” Guttormsson said.
