St. Ed's hosting All-School Reunion
St. Edward's Catholic School will be celebrating 80 years of education with an All-School Reunion during Boxelder Bug Days this weekend. The parochial school will be hosting an Open House from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8. Punch and cake will be served.
"We've never had an Open House here before," said Julie Pohlen, the current President of the Education Committee at St. Edward's School. "We want to show everyone the many changes we've had at St. Edward's over the years."
One of those changes is the new pre-school program that will be starting in the near future at St. Edward's. St. Edward's School will also have a float in the Grand Parade that begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday as part of the Boxelder Bug Days event.
The float, made by current students and faculty, will commemorate the All-School Reunion.
"Anyone past or present that went to St. Edward's School can walk alongside the float or ride on it during the parade," said Pohlen.
"We're excited to see everyone."
