The City of Minneota has partnered with Southwest Health and Human Services and the Southwest Regional Development Commission to have an active living plan.

The plan discusses the importance of ensuring children can walk and bike safely to and from school. Part of the plan discusses the importance of educating youth on walking and biking safety.

The Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota in collaboration with A Healthier Southwest and the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership is offering a Walk! Bike! Fun! Training for educators will be on Thursday, October 12 at the Marshall Middle School.

Additionally, if you attend the training you would be able to have access to rent the Bicycle Alliance bike fleet and helmets for events and programming in your community.
