School, teacher contracts set

The Minneota School Board and the Minneota Educators (MEMO) have agreed on a two-year contract.

The teachers will receive:

•$1,500 increase for 19-20 (prorated for part-time staff).

•$1,450 increase for 20-21 (prorated for part-time staff). That’s an approximately 5.3 percent increase total for the two years.

Several other changes were also made in the contract. Superintendent Dan Deitte said the changes were of a more minor nature.

“There were no huge changes,” he said.
